NEW SHOES!

Hey there :)

I FINALLY bought my first pair of Christian Louboutin shoes! I purchased the Relika from the Miami boutique on August 27th. Not the best experience but I'm so happy I bought the shoes. You can NEVER go wrong with a pair of Loubies. I can't wait to wear them, but where to yet I'm not so sure. Right now I should be doing homework but I thought I'd let everyone get a sneak peek at my babies.

Sorry I've Been MIA

sorry I've been MIA lately. I haven't been getting any feedback on any of my posts so i figured I'd stop blogging for a while but I'm back! In less than 2 weeks I'll finally be in Miami. Has anyone been to the Christian Louboutin boutique there? If so, what are your thoughts about it? If you have any pictures to share that would be awesome! I can't wait to go and purchase my first pair of louboutins! I've been told that boutiques carry "boutique exclusives" so I'm hoping to find the PERFECT PAIR! Does anyone have any tips, advice, etc?

I Always Get These Three Mixed Up

Its uncanny how much these three actresses look alike. JoAnna Garcia, Amy Adams, and Isla Fisher. I saw an ad for the upcoming ABC movie Revenge of the Bridesmaids. As you can see in front of the bridesmaids are their names. When I saw JoAnna Garcia, I thought to myself they must have that name wrong that looks like the actress from Enchanted or Confessions of A Shopaholic. But of course I was proven wrong when I googled her name. When she's a brunette the resemblance between the three is undeniable. They're all great actresses and as you can see it's so easy to get them mixed up.

I Can't Get Enough of these Booties!

Man oh man, these booties drive me crazy! :) I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE!! Hopefully these babies will grace my feet some time soon. It seems that this is also a fave of Hollywood starlets. Shoudl I get them or should I not?? Sound off below :)

Animal Clutches

So, today I was on net-a-porter and I came across these animal shaped crystal embellished clutches by designer Judith Leiber. Um I have to say, it's a little weird. Not something you see everyday for sure! And the wildcat version costs a whopping $5,495!! The wildcat and zebra versions are okay, but it definitely gets a little weird when it comes down to the dachshund version. The things people actually wear... What do you think about these clutches? Cute, fashionable, just downright weird? Sound off below :)

My Dream Job

Since I have such a passion for shoes I'm hoping once I graduate from college in two semesters I'll get a job dealing with shoes. I would LOVE a job with Net-A-Porter or somewhere like that. Somewhere where I can put my all into it. There are things that I enjoy doing such as event planning and I love it but there's nothing that tops shoes. I can talk about shoes everyday all day! After I say my prayers at night what am I thinking about? Not the drama from the day, not any worries I have... SHOES! So what better way than to make a living. I hope this works for me. Keep your fingers crossed :)

FINALLY!

I just HAD to make a post about this! For all of the shoenistas out there you can finally purchase your favorite pair of Louboutins directly from his website. How amazing. At one point you could only view the styles that were available but now you don't have to go to a boutique, which is nearly impossible for people in my situation (i.e. there's not one nearby), or another store that carries his brand. I just have a serious "red sole" addiction and this just makes it worse! BUT IN A GOOD WAY!

I'm In Miami Trick!

So I found out for one of my best friends 21st birthday we're going to Miami. I'm so excited we finally get a vacation and of course because I get to visit a Christian Louboutin boutique for the first time! I live in little ol' Virginia and the closest boutique is of course in New York City which isn't very close at all. And the closest store that even carries Christian Louboutin is over 3 hours away. Being that I'm in summer school I can't make that drive right now which blows. BUT I GOT THE MOST AWESOME NEWS FROM MY FRIEND, WE'RE GOING TO MIAMIIIIII!!! And since there's a boutique there I WILL be going. The best part is it's only seven minutes from our hotel. Could it get any better?! Be jealous ;) unless you already live near a boutique, then I'm jealous. ha. Above are pictures of the amazing store.

I came across this website a while ago and they have an amazing selection of authentic designer shoes at a significantly cheaper price than you'd find at other online stores. They post new shoes every day at 6:30 a.m. Quantity is limited, obviously, so every size is not available and quite a few of the shoes go quickly. If I Lived in Jersey

If I lived in New Jersey this would be my favorite shoe place to shop! Coco Pari. They have the latest in designer shoes and apparel for women. LOVE IT! Too bad they didn't have the shoes I was looking for but they have an awesome selection. For those true shoe fashionista's out there you will never be disappointed. Trust me. Now as I've said I'm head over heels in love with Christian Louboutin shoes but I also love other designers as well. These new Jimmy Choo over the knee boots from the new Fall 2010 collection is stunning. Basic black leather boot. Sexy and simple all in one. What do you think? Sound off below :)

Such a Shoe Fairy

So one of my really good friends said that she wanted a pair of Louboutin's, because I got her hooked, but she didn't want to pay $800 for a pair of shoes. I personally don't mind spending that on a pair of classic pumps that I'm going to get a lot of wear out of, but everyone doesn't feel that way. So being the good friend and shoe fanatic that I am, I went on a wild goose chase for a cheaper pair in her budget. But someone is being ungrateful! Picture after picture I sent her but nothing seems to tickle her fancy. But I don't mind, I'd go on a shoe hunt for her again because it's what I do :) Have you gone on a shoe hunt for someone else besides yourself? Sound off below :)

My Love For Shoes

Ever since I can remember, I've had a love for shoes. It's borderline an addiction :) My favorite shoe designer is Christian Louboutin. His shoes are like works of art but for your feet. Yes his shoes may be expensive to some people but if you feel its worth it the price shouldn't matter. Mr. Louboutin has revealed his Fall Winter 2011 collection and my jaw dropped when I laid eyes on the Bibi! Absolutely gorgeous! This is a pump that will be in your closet twenty years from now. Classic. This will be my first pair of Louboutin's! I can't wait to get them, just waiting on the boutique to get them in so they can be shipped.
